Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have released another The Division 2 trailer, exploring the endgame content that SHD agents in Washington DC will be able to experience. A followup tweet also revealed more, including the world tier system. The Division 2 endgame content has been extensively teased lately and Ubisoft decided to press on with such promotion. The latest trailer offered the first glimpse of eight agents in a raid, but didn't show any raid gameplay yet. We do know that the first raid will be called Operation Dark Hours. They also stated once again that the rules will change when reaching maximum level.

When pressed further on potential mechanics like team wipes, Karlson responded, “Let’s just say it’s not going to be easy”. Finally, Arekkz asked the pair if raids would be released slightly after launch to give players the chance to gear up. “Yes, that is exactly what we’re planning to do,” said Gerighty. “We realise that raids are a goal. It is the most hardcore activity in endgame, so it’s going to take a while to get leveled up for it, to get the gear for it, and to get a team ready. So it will launch a little bit after the game launches.”

The developers further explained that raids “are not going to be easy.” The gameplay activity will include “bespoke” boss battles and mechanics as well as “Specializations, RPG systems, our shooting systems, eight players, working with groups, splitting up groups” and a “social puzzling element.” With this increased difficulty in mind, many fans will be understanding about the delayed release if it means that they will have a better chance at completing raids once they are available. Incursions were assumed to be raid-like experiences prior to the launch of Falcon Lost but instead they were smaller missions with some different mechanics. They didn’t change up the player count or task players with doing much more than killing baddies, and Falcon Lost didn’t really get the concept off on a good foot.

Once the main story concludes, the Black Tusks appear to effectively seize control. Dark Zones will be “Occupied”, missions will have “Invasions” (which essentially replace standard enemies with Black Tusk soldiers), and overall, you need to change up your tactics to succeed. Perhaps the coolest thing about the trailer is the tease of the first raid. While Ubisoft Massive hasn’t doled out too many details, we do know the raid will support 8 players. The trailer also seemingly teases that it will take place at Washington National Airport. The Division 2 is out on March 15th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with the raid expected shortly after launch.

With only a few weeks left until launch, Ubisoft and Massive have begun to really highlight the many activities, missions, and other things available to the endgame. Alongside a new trailer, Ubisoft has also released an infographic that features all end game activities including the first raid.
